Coming up this September 9-11 at Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky, the 2011 Holley LS Fest just added the Super Chevy and ERL Dyno Challenge to the roster of events for the weekend. If you’ve got horsepower and want to put a number on it, sign up at the Holley Race Trailer on the grounds during the event.
[3]Awards are going to be made to the top three vehicles that pin the meter, so start tuning. Preregistration for the event is now open, so you won’t have to worry about details at the gate. A draw for a $1,000 gift certificate is gong to be held on August 15 from among those who have preregistered, so make sure to get it done before then. You’ll also save up to $25 by handling it all online.
Among other events over the weekend, Holley has announced that LS Fest 2011 will be one of the four races to make up the GM Performance Parts LSX Challenge Series. But that’s not all. There are additional 1320 events hosted by GM High Tech Performance magazine, and Chevy High Performance magazine.
The Ridetech Camaro Performers Magazine autocross will challenge those drivers with a knack for turning left and right, while the Baer Speed-Stop Challenge will focus on 0-60-0 performance. Add in an engine swap challenge, show ‘n shine and cruise and you’ve got a full weekend of LS-driven fun.
