It takes a sick sense of humor to merge the nightmares of children (and some adults) into a video game version of the Z06 Corvette for Forza 4 [1]. Perhaps the creative evil genius behind this merger of Pennywise the clown [2] and the beloved American sports car wanted to induce nightmares in his fellow gamers. Perhaps the classic clown horror flick was on the background during a late night gaming session, or someone was sick of their little brother messing with their console.
[3]Regardless, this is absolutely awesomely creepy thanks to blood splatter added to the formerly virginal white C7. Sure, it would have been easy to take use a black as the background for this murderous machine, but the contrast blood and creepy clown heads defiles the innocence of the car. Not to say that a Z06 should be considered innocent or pure, thanks to the brutal horsepower and torque, but this rendering is representative of a nightmare.
The front end is decked out with portrait of the creepy clown along with decals below each headlight that mimic droplets of blood. It is doubtful that this beast lurks in the sewer enticing small children with balloons, but it does haunt fellow Forza 4 players. As far as nightmares go this Corvette should have players checking underneath their virtual beds before drifting off to nightmare land. Perhaps the circus will take a cue and create a real life version of the creepiest clown car in the world. Nighty night – don’t let the clowns bite…
