Corvette Racing’s Le Mans Exploits To Be Broadcast On FOXsports.com

[1]

The 24 Hours of Le Mans is coming up this weekend, June 14-15, 2014, and thanks to the wonders of modern-day streaming technology, you can watch the exploits of the Corvette Racing team live on the World Wide Web by checking out the three-camera stream on FOXsports.com [2].

Why do you want to do this? Well, first off – Corvette road racing, and secondly, because this year’s Le Mans event will feature the debut of the brand-new Corvette C7.R No 73 and 74 machines on the track.

Live in-car streaming from both cars will be telecast on the web from the green flag until the checkered flag waves at the end of the race. This will give Corvette enthusiasts the inside look at the operation – along with a fixed camera to be placed inside the Corvette Racing garage streaming for the full 24 hours of the event.

[3]The No. 73 car will be driven by Antonio Garcia, Jan Magnussen, and Jordan Taylor, while the No. 74 car will be piloted by Oliver Gavin, Tommy Milner, and Richard Westbrook throughout the course of the event.

Corvette Racing boasts seven class victories at the Le Mans circuit since 2001 and the teams will be vying for the eighth when the action goes down. The cars ran through their test program around the circuit virtually trouble-free during the pair of four-hour sessions about two weeks ago and are looking to duplicate that performance when the green drops this weekend.

You can also see the action on TV – broadcast times and channels below. We hope you didn’t plan anything else for the weekend, as it’s go-time for the C7.R on the track.
