Corvette Incentives and News on Discontinued C6 Colors Released
If you’ve been waiting for the latest Corvette incentives to be released, we’ve got some good news for you. Thanks to Corvette Blogger, the newest incentives are now out in the open. But that’s not the only good news the Corvette website holds. They also share the latest update on the return of the Crystal Red Metallic and Cyber Gray Metallic paint colors for the C6.
We’ve been waiting all summer to see what the model year-end discounts would look like. While the wait was long, it was worth it, as Kerbeck Corvette revealed there are some killer deals to be had. For the 2011 model, Corvette incentives include a $3,000 Consumer Cash rebate, 0% APR for 60 months and 2.9% APR for 72 months. A targeted campaign is also going to be in place, giving certain individuals an extra $3,000 rebate that can be combined with the Consumer Cash or a special APR. Current Corvette owners will be granted the extra $3,000 rebate even if they didn’t make the list of initially selected consumers. If a 2012 is more your style, you can get $1,500 Dealer Cash or 3.9% APR for 60 months – either can be combined with a $3,000 rebate for current Corvette owners. Incentives are available through the end of October.
As we reported earlier in the year, Cyber Gray Metallic and Crystal Red Metallic paint colors were temporarily discontinued for the Corvette because of a shortage of Xirallic (the pigmentation used in these and other paint colors) due to damage of the factory where it was produced, caused by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. But there is good news for fans of these two paint colors. Crystal Red Metallic is making its comeback and Corvettes in the color are currently being shipped to Chevrolet dealerships. We’ll have to wait for Cyber Gray to come back, but the 2012 models promise to reintroduce the color.
We’re stoked that the two popular colors are making a comeback following the discontinuation announcement in March. What better way to celebrate than buying a new Corvette in the re-released colors? After all, you can get some pretty smoking deals now thanks to the new incentives.
