Lingenfelter Performance Engineering partnered with the Kids Wish Network to enhance the performance of the 2010 ZR1 for the Corvette Dream Giveaway. This year’s lucky winner was Brian Landgren; he will be presented with the Brad Paisley HERO Edition ZR1 and a classic Corvette at Lingenfelter Motorsports in Brighton, Michigan on February 28, 2011.

Drawing upon their vast experience in creating insanely fast cars for this project Lingenfelter opted to use a different supercharger pulley and a front inlet cover to coax 700 horsepower from under the hood of the ZR1. This enhanced Corvette features Brad Paisley’s signature under the hood, which explains why it is known as the “Brad Paisley Edition.”

This giveaway is designed to raise money for the Kids Wish Network HERO program. This program provides a once in lifetime experience to children with serious medical issues. The Corvette Dream Giveaway is funded through ticket purchases (which are tax deductible) for a chance to win not one, but two Corvettes (the ZR1 and a fully restored 1967 427 powered specimen.)

There is a bit of history between the Kids Wish Network and Lingenfelter – back in 2008 the company participated in this project as a tribute to John Lingenfelter (founder of Lingenfelter Performance Engineering). “For the original sweepstakes, we designed a unique LS3 Corvette convertible that honored John’s legendary racing career and performance ability,” said Ken Lingenfelter, owner of Lingenfelter Performance Engineering.

All it took was a simple donation and this fellow walked with two amazing rides; buy a ticket for the next giveaway and who knows what you might drive home next year. With a chance to win two cars, help sick children and receive a tax write off; it seems like a win for everyone.
