Chevy vs. Ford: Can’t We Just Compromise? This Stang-Vette Sure Did!

The disagreement about which brand is better between Chevy and Ford will probably never go away, especially between die-hard fans, but maybe there’s a solution. As we found out from Autoholics [2], there’s actually a car floating around the interwebs that seemingly aims to put all debate to rest. After all, if you can’t come to an agreement, why not make a compromise, right?

[3] The car in question is the Mustang convertible you see above. While it looks like a modern fifth-generation Mustang at first glance, a closer look reveals the middle body of a fourth-gen model. But that’s not where this car’s oddities end.

Just look at the back of the vehicle and you’ll find the very distinct tail section from a C5 Corvette. Yes, that makes at least three different cars that went into this single vehicle creation.

Why someone would put so much work into this mash-up of cars, let alone two different brands, we aren’t sure. But one thing is for certain, it is gaining widespread attention on forums like CorvetteFlorida.com [4] and The Car Lounge [5] for being out of the ordinary. In fact, on both these forums, the Mustang-Corvette is featured in “World’s Ugliest” and “Doing It Wrong” threads.

Personality and unique style is encouraged when it comes to creating custom cars, but some things should just not be attempted. What do you think of this odd-ball creation?

Now that's something you don't see everyday - a Mustang galloping its way between Corvette taillights. And it's certainly something we never want to see again.
