Chevrolet’s ZF1 Package Available On 2014 C7 Corvettes

[1]Looking to put your order in on a fresh, new, 2014 C7 Stingray? Well, now’s your chance to order a 2014 C7 with the ZF1 appearance package, which is a new RPO (Regular Production Option) for the 2015 C7 Corvette.

The ZF1 appearance package will make any non-Z51 Corvette, coupe or convertible, look like a Z51-optioned Corvette. Included in the ZF1 package are staggered 19 and 20-inch aluminum wheels, Michelin Pilot Super Sport run-flat, summer-only tires, and the body-color painted rear spoiler. Other extra cost options include the  Z51-look aluminum wheels in black for $495, and carbon-flash painted rear spoiler and side mirrors for another $100.

The price of the package is pretty reasonable considering that the Z51 package got a price hike up to $4,000 and the Corvette itself got an extra $2,000 bump on the sticker price. For those who can do without the extra performance features of the Z51 package, the ZF1 appearance package is the perfect bargain to give a base C7 a sharp look.

Chevrolet’s efforts in owner customization is awesome – they give numerous options for customers to personalize their vehicle while not charging an arm and a leg. Who knows, maybe we will see a line of Corvette-specific performance parts, just like how Camaro owners can purchase parts from the ZL1 and 1LE? We can only hope!

For customers that order a 2014 C7, just remember – the last cars purchased in the 2014 model year with the ZF1 package will be extremely rare, as they will account for less than ten percent of 2014 C7 Corvettes produced. Get those orders in!
