Check Out These C7 Parts from Zip – Headers, Exhaust and Accessories
Our friends over at Zip Corvette have been hard at work releasing new parts ever since the debut of the C7 Stingray, and they are proud to offer a few of the items they’ve been working on.
The 2014 C7 Corvette Mid-Length headers by American Racing Headers are designed to mix-and-match with stock Corvette parts, offering the ultimate in flexibility when it comes to upgrading your exhaust system. The 1 3/4-inch pipes are built from mandrel-bent, American-sourced 304 stainless steel and offer emissions-friendliness, laser-cut 3/8-inch thick flanges, merge collectors, and TIG-welded construction. They are efficient and will match right up with your factory X-pipe. The Mid-Length headers come with new Severe-Duty 49-state-legal catalytic converters and are a direct bolt-on. New gaskets and mounting hardware is included in the box along with the required oxygen sensor extensions. On the dyno, they’ve been proven to add 21 rear-wheel horsepower and 29 foot-pounds of torque with no additional tuning required.
New to the Zip catalog are the sweet engine accessories seen above. Now’s your chance to personalize your C7’s engine compartment with American Car Craft’s 304 stainless steel engine covers that are guaranteed to never rust, tarnish, or fade. Covers are available for the intake manifold, master cylinder, and even the fuse box. These pieces will take your C7 that extra step to stand apart from the crowd at the next car show.
Also making an appearance in the Zip catalog is this awesome new axle-back exhaust system from B&B Performance Exhaust.
The Bullet system is B&B’s most aggressive performance exhaust system and offers a deep muscle car sound like no other.
Like all of B&B’s exhaust products, the system is crafted from T-304 stainless steel and is fully TIG-welded for long life and good looks.
We detailed some of B&B’s exhaust products recently on a C6 Z06 in this article, complete with video, so check it out to get a gauge on the sound and whether you like it.
