Captain America’s Black Widow Vette Hits the Red Carpet for Premiere

The latest installment [1] of the Marvel Comics’ Captain America series may have big names like Scarlet Johansson and Chris Evans making their mark once again, but its a more mechanical character that has Corvette fans getting excited about the movie. That was obvious as the Black on Black C7 Corvette Stingray, driven by the one and only Black Widow in the film, hit the red carpet alongside its human counterparts for the World Premiere [2] of Captain America: Winter Soldier at Hollywood’s El Capitan Theater on Thursday, March 13th. Check out what the cast of actors and actresses had to say about the sweet Chevy in the Bader Media  [3]video [3] above.

But while the crowd’s eyes were on the stars of the movie at the recent world premiere, the star’s eyes were on one thing in particular- the 2014 C7 Corvette that played Black Widow’s trusted ride in the movie and joined the star-loaded cast for their red carpet event.

Though the C7 was certainly a highlight for all the stars, with Johansson noting that the Vette “was a pretty sweet ride,” and Maximiliano Hernandez (who plays Jasper Sitwell in the new film) admitting the whole cast was in awe when the Corvette rolled onto the movie set, the car isn’t the only Chevy to appear in the film. Also making a mark in the latest Captain America movie is a Blue Metallic Chevy Silverado 1500, driven by Evans, and a 2014 Impala 2LT Sedan, driven by Anthony Mackie, who plays “The Falcon” in the upcoming film.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier hits theaters on Friday April 4th, but for now enjoy a little taste of the movie “Chevy style” in the extended commercial titled All in a Day’s Work [6] released by the brand below.
