It wasn’t long ago that the 2014 C7 [3] made its debut at the Detroit Auto Show, but Corvette enthusiasts are already on to bigger and better things. That’s because, in less than 24 hours, the C7 convertible is set to make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show, giving Corvette fans another vehicle to look forward to for the future Chevy lineup. But, as it turns out, you won’t have to wait until the show airs sometime in the middle of the night US time to see the new car, as Chevy just released images of what we can expect the drop-top to look like. Check them out compliments of autoevolution [4].

While little information has been released about the new convertible model, there are aesthetic cues that give hints to what the new C7 will have for available options. Based on the spoiler and hood vents pictured in the front-quarter views of the car, autoevolution is guessing that the drop-top may in fact have the option of the Z51 Package, which means an electronically controlled limited-slip differential, bigger brakes and wheels, a closer gear ratio for the manual transmission and additional cooling components for things like the brakes and engine. New slim five-spoke wheels also appear to be an option on the convertible.

The same 6.2L LT1 powertrain can be expected for the drop-top, but with the wind in your hair, there may just be more to the convertible than we expect. In only a few more hours, we’ll know for sure. Keep an eye on the live feed below, via this link compliments of GTSpirit.com [6] for the official reveal late tonight.
