We’ve just received word that the LSX Shootout, the premiere drag race competition for LS-powered vehicles, will expand from a single event to three rounds in 2011. In its fifth year, the Shootout will take place in conjunction with the NMCA [1] events in Bradenton, Florida (March 18-20), Atlanta, Georgia (April 14-17), and in Indianapolis, Indiana (October 6-9).

No word yet on whether these will be standalone events or part of a points series, but we expect more information at any time. We will bring you the full details just as soon as they are released, but go ahead and mark your calendars now to save the dates!
