Bloomington Gold 2013 Registration is Now Open!

[1] We’re happy to announce that registration for the 2013 Bloomington Gold Corvette Show [2] is now underway! This years’ Bloomington Gold promises to be a good one, as “The Granddaddy of Corvette Shows” will celebrate its 40th anniversary, as well as the first show at its new location in Champaign, Illinois.

Bloomington Gold’s move from St. Charles [3], Illinois was fueled by a desire to provide more and better driving opportunities for the Corvette enthusiasts that attend, as well as more room for the ever-growing show to continue to expand. In addition to the grand GoldTour, they have added several Mini-Tours through rural Illinois, as well as a GoldAutocross to the driving events.

Bloomington Gold is the world's longest running Corvette show, and will celebrate its 40th anniversary this summer.

Of course, there will still be plenty of showing and judging as hopefuls look to achieve coveted Bloomington Gold certified status with their historically correct and survivor Corvettes. (Click here [5] for more info on the Bloomington Gold judging standards.)

There will also be several GoldSchool seminars and workshops covering everything from how to search for previous owners of your Corvette, to how to tell the difference between original and reproduction parts. Finally, there’s probably no better place than at Bloomington Gold for Mecum to hold the world’s largest all-Corvette auction (Saturday, June 29th).

The 2013 Bloomington Gold show will be held the weekend of June 28th through 30th at the University of Illinois Assembly Hall Grounds, in Champaign, and registration will run until June 1st. For more info on how to register or attend, check out Bloomington Gold’s website [2], and read through the online registration packet [6].
