Arrest Warrants Issued For Thanksgiving Corvette Crashers

The Thanksgiving Day exhibitions of these two might turn into a Blue Christmas behind bars.

As if wrecking their Corvettes and having it plastered all over the internet for the whole world to see wasn’t bad enough, the two turkeys involved in the Thanksgiving Day street racing crash might soon be doing some jail time thanks to the viral video of the accident.

Jalopnik reports that according to a credible source, arrest warrants have been issued for both drivers involved – one of which is a 23 year old who’s mom begged the police not to arrest him, but rather take him to the hospital, and the other is reportedly a member of LS1Tech with a less than stellar reputation. Jalopnik says they spoke with an individual who claims to have been the first police officer on the scene of the accident. He told them, “Well, the driver on the left was 23 and called his parents immediately. As soon as we placed him in cuffs his mom started screaming to go to the hospital. So we sent him to the hospital and decided to cut the other guy loose due to the kid not going to jail. Warrants are being issued for both of their arrests now.” Very interesting. So they had them both in custody, and just let them go because someone’s mom said they should, and only now after the video has become so popular are they finally looking to arrest them again. Unbelievable.

So what do you think? How can justice best be served in this whole situation?
