A Look at Michael Brown’s Cars in the Latest Vette Collections Video

A video series featuring stellar Corvette collections by producer Michael Brown wouldn’t be complete without a look at his own classic sports cars, so on this episode of Vette Collections ^[1], we take a look at Brown’s 13 Corvettes housed in a five-door garage on Brown’s Texas property. While a dozen and one Corvettes may not sound like a whole lot, considering some of the collections of 100+ cars we’ve seen, Brown’s Corvettes ^[2] are all showroom quality, drivers, and carry a bit more Corvette history than some might imagine. Check them out in the video above.

Hosted by Brown’s daughter, Rachael Terrana, this episode of Vette Collections is rather special.

Not only does it give you an inside look into Brown’s personal collection of cars, but it also gives you an idea where Brown’s passion for the two-seater American sports car came from.

Known for his production “The Quest ^[5],” Brown is the proud owner of several collector Corvettes, including at least one of every generation but the fourth. Among them are five C2s with the 340ci engine, two 427ci engines and two Fuelies represented.

All of Brown's Corvettes are black or silver, or a combination of both.

Brown’s collection also features his first ever Corvette, a ‘63 split window coupe he received for his 40th birthday, one of only a handful of black 1954 Corvettes ever produced, and a 1957 car with a 283ci/283hp engine and a four-speed on the floor, the first time equal displacement and horsepower as well as a four-speed transmission were offered on the model. Other notable Corvettes in Brown’s collection include one of 202 ‘78 pace cars that were produced with a four-speed transmission, an ‘03 Z06 50th anniversary Corvette and a ’12 Centennial ZR1.

^[8] But Corvettes aren’t the only stellar cars Brown has tucked away in his garage. He also owns a ‘55 Bel Air 2-door hardtop and one of only 68 ‘57 Bel Air convertibles ever produced with fuel injection. But these cars don’t take away from the fact that Brown’s real love comes in the form of a Vette.
