The 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Collector Edition will be available exclusively in one fantastic looking color combination: Watkins Glen Grey exterior paint, accented by Tension Blue hash marks on the fenders, and a stealthy satin black stripe down the length of the body. The overall exterior look is finished off with a set of aggressive black wheels.
A portion of the vehicles’ interior is suede-wrapped black, but majority features leather in the same eye-popping Tension Blue color as the exterior’s hash marks– quite a contrast. A 3D outline of the original Grand Sport racecar can be spotted on the front seats’ headrests and the instrument panel, along with a unique build number showcasing the specific vehicles collectibility.
Of course, the vehicles will have all of the standard Grand Sport features– from the upgraded suspension to the Z06-styled aero parts.
The 2017 Collector Edition will be pushed out later than the “typical” Grand Sport model and production will take place October 2016 through February 2017. Only 1,000 vehicles will be produced in total, with 850 going to the Corvette’s largest market: the United States.
The coupe will be priced starting at $80,190 and the convertible start at $84,190. For those looking for a little more power, the Z07 package will be available for an additional $7,995.
