Many, if not all of us know how much fun Las Vegas can be. Well the fun and excitement is at an all time high this weekend for collector car enthusiasts in Sin City. Today marks the start of Barrett-Jackson’s 4th Annual Las Vegas Collector Car Auction. While this auction is scheduled to have all different makes and models, it is especially exciting for Corvette enthusiasts, with 46 of various generations being sold. Thanks to CorvetteBlogger for bringing us the news.
The auction is being held at Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino. Going through all the trouble, CorvetteBlogger very nicely pulled out a list of all the Corvettes that will be crossing the auction block this weekend. Making up the 46 total are 11 C1s, 8 C2s, 16 C3s, 6 C4s and 5 C5s. For today’s auction, you will only see later Corvette generations while Friday and Saturday will play host to the earlier years along with newer models.
For a complete list of all the Corvettes set to be auctioned off at the Collector Car Auction, check out CorvetteBlogger’s article on the event. From the looks of it, this auction shouldn’t be missed by any serious Corvette collector.
If you’re interested in seeing the auction but aren’t able to make the trip to Vegas, SPEED will be broadcasting the event live starting tonight and going through Saturday when the auction ends. Check out the broadcast schedule on CorvetteBlogger for more details.
