It has only been a few months since we were talking about Chevrolet’s official performance specs for Chevrolet’s 2015 Z06, much less spotting them on the street and getting to drive a few ourselves. While many new Z06 owners are still reading their owner’s manuals and breaking in their motors, some folks just can’t wait to swap out some Corvette parts for those of the aftermarket.
Shown on GTSpirit, is a stunning 2015 Corvette Z06 outfitted with a set of ADV.1 wheels, which seem to really fill the wheel wells of the Vette. According to ADV.1’s website the wheels installed here are the ADV10 Track Spec CS Series wheels. They have been finished in matte black disc with a custom PPG carbon flash lip. The wheels also feature a red ADV.1 logo, and their own 50/50 exposed hardware.
The Z06 comes equipped from the factory with the same size wheel package that the ZR1 was equipped with, 19×10 up front and 20×12 out back. The ADV.1 wheels shown here measure in at 20×10.5 in front and 21×12.5 for the rear, which helps to rid of some wheel well gap along with wearing a slightly wider piece of rubber.
A lot of people are in favor of sticking with the wheels GM supplied them from the factory, or at most changing to a different style of GM-produced wheel when it comes to their own Vette. Quite frankly, we can’t blame them, everybody has a unique vision as to what an ideal Corvette looks like.
That being said, for those looking for some a little different, these certainly are a nice looking set and do a great job at showing off those big beautiful brakes. Moreover, they made for some gorgeous Corvette photography.
