2014 Corvette Order Guide Hits the Internet

2014-Corvette-C7-1 [1]While the first 2014 Corvette [2] coupe and convertible are already spoken for, you can bet that there are plenty of dealerships across America ready to take your order for the new Stingray. Of course, depending on where you live, you may have to wait a little while before the Corvette is available in your area [3].

But what you don’t have to wait for is the 2014 Corvette order guide, which hit the web yesterday thanks to Kerbeck Corvette [4], apparently the world’s leading Corvette dealership. How webmaster Dana Salvatore got permission to “leak” the order guide we don’t know, but it does reveal a few interesting tidbits about the latest and greatest Chevy supercar.

Let’s get the most interesting tidbits out of the way first. The 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray will launch with three trim levels; 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT. There will also be an available Z51 performance package that includes 19-inch front wheels and 20-inch rear wheels, a dry-sump oiling system, and an electronic limited-slip differential. The Z51 package also includes specific shocks, springs, larger front brakes, and a transmission and differential cooler for track days. Finally it includes an “Aero Package” that stabilizes the Corvette at high speeds.

The rest of the order guide covers things like available extras from cargo nets and license plate brackets to more interesting features, like a color override option. This allows customers to order a Corvette interior, exterior, and even convertible color choices that aren’t “on the menu.” That will allow for a whole lot more customizations… and some potential hideous Corvettes straight from the factory. If you want to check out the order guide yourself, click this link from Kerbeck Corvette [8] to download it, and let us know what options most excite you.
