The Corvette C6.R has had a storied racing career since it first took to the American Le Mans Series in 2005, dominating its class in race after race after race. Yet 2012 is the last year for Corvette Racing and the C6.R, as the new C7 Corvette is set to be unveiled in January of 2013. But at least the Corvette Racing team went out on top, and what better way to celebrate than with some holiday memorabilia?

While surfing through the Corvette Museum store, we came across this awesome poster celebrating Corvette Racing’s 2011 24 Hours of Le Mans victory. We think it would make a great stocking stuffer for the upcoming holiday season, though we have to wonder where the rest of the C6.R posters are?

2012 was the closing act on the Corvette Racing Team’s time with the C6.R, and they did not disappoint. In 10 ALMS races, Corvette Racing won four races, 12 total podium appearances, and enough points to take home the ALMS GT class championship one more time before making the switch to the Corvette C7.

But there have been other notable victories too, including the 2011 24 Hours of Le Mans class victory that saw the C6.R beating out BMW, Porsche, and Ferrari for the win. This commemorative poster notes that “Behind every great Corvette, there’s A BMW, Porsche, and Ferrari.” For the Corvette fan in your life, this $5.00 poster will mean a whole lot to motorsports aficionados.
