Vibrant Performance Shows Off Their New Synchronic Blow Off Valve

[1]
All blow off valves perform in similar fashion and execute a very important task – preventing compressor surge and reducing wear on the turbocharger and engine by relieving the damaging effects of “surge loading” and allowing compressed air to vent to the atmosphere.

However, not all blowoff valves are created equal, and Vibrant Performance [2] has unveiled their new design of this critical turbocharger system component. Their new Synchronic Blow Off Valves feature a fast acting design that allows it to function as a blow off, diverter/bypass or pop-off valve. The Synchronic technology eliminates the diaphragm that is typically used by other manufacturers and instead features a multi-tier piston actuator that equalizes the force required to open the valve at any boost pressure, reducing or eliminating the compressor surge. Each blow off valve is pressure tested to not leak boost up to 100psi.

These SB Series blow off valves feature a pull-type only design that eliminates boost leak by seating the valve more as boost pressure increases. Interchangeable inlet and discharge flanges allow Vibrant Performance to offer a wide variety of adpaters, making it easy to mount the Synchronic BOV on many popular vehicles. With the correct flanges on your turbo piping, these blow off valves can be used on virtually any centrifugally supercharged or turbocharged engine combination.
