Early this year we took a field trip up to Lloyd Mats in Northridge, CA and we brought back the story of an employee-owned company that has been in business for decades and makes a high quality product right here in the good ‘ol USA.
For SEMA, we stopped by their display and talked with Danielle Abbott and she filled us in all the latest news from Lloyd Mats.
First up, they’ve added 15 new C7 related logos for your perusal. Lloyd is the only GM licensed purveyor of C7 mats and they’ve got a really incredible selection in almost any color combination you can think of.
They supply mats for every era of Corvette, but this year, they set their sights on upgrading their selection of C2 and C3 offerings with a new line-up of freshened choice and options.
Corvettes are big business for Lloyd and outsells all other marques offered for sale by the company.
We ordered two sets of mats early this year and it was really easy to use their online configurator to dial in exactly what you want.
Lloyd Mats have proudly been made in America since 1978. They incorporated in 1974, making specialty carpet products and tapestries. The manufacturing of custom fit floor and cargo mats for the automotive aftermarket began in 1978.
Lloyd Mats became an employee-owned company in 1999, when it was purchased from founder Lloyd Levine. As owners, every employee is committed to building the finest quality products and providing the highest level of service in the automotive aftermarket.
