SEMA 2016: Baer Brakes Improves Braking With EradiSpeed

Today’s crop of modern musclecars are pretty impressive when it comes to braking performance. An improvement, however, typically means a complete replacement of all components, and that can get quite costly. That’s expected when you’re replacing calipers and rotors at all four corners, like with the new Grizzly brake system.

But, unless you’re hitting a race track every weekend, there’s really no need to replace your entire braking system when a simple, affordable upgrade can make a difference you can feel.

Baer Brake Systems introduced the new EradiSpeed premium performance rotor at SEMA. This rotor is a step up in braking for many of today’s modern musclecars, and it’s a direct bolt on upgrade that doesn’t require a major component change.

The EradiSpeed is available in three levels of brake rotor upgrade, starting with the ES+ system, the ES1 system, and finishing with the best rotor upgrade, the ES+1.

The ES+ upgrade consists of a new, stock size two-piece rotor upgrade that requires just a rotor swap, and is a direct replacement of the stock rotor with a lighter rotor. Your brakes will also benefit from the cross-drilled, slotted performance of these zinc-coated rotors.

The ES1 upgrade consists of a larger than stock one-piece rotor that includes a new caliper bracket to space the calipers accordingly. This is also a cross-drilled, slotted rotor, to increase cooling and performance.

The ES+1 upgrade consists of a two-piece cross-drilled and slotted rotor, and includes a new caliper bracket to space the calipers outward to fit the larger rotor.

All three upgrade levels are a direct bolt-on that can be done in the driveway or garage, and they won’t require bleeding the brakes when replacing the caliper mounting bracket. That means a big brake upgrade that is both affordable and doesn’t require a shop or begging your friend to come over and help.

Visit the Baer Brakes website to see the new EradiSpeed brake rotor upgrade system, as well as the new GR6 Grizzly brake system – things are getting bigger and better at Baer.
