This year at SEMA, the guys at Billy Boat Performance Exhaust wowed the crowd. Mike Boat, sales manager, introduced us to the extensive line of Corvette exhausts for C3 to C7 models. He also cued us on the exciting news for the Corvette C7.

Billy Boat Performance would like its customers to know that every system is manufactured with T-304 stainless-steel, the industry’s highest quality material for after-CAT exhaust applications.

Billy Boat’s exhaust tubing is mandrel-bent on CNC machinery to ensure a precise fit and uninterrupted exhaust flow. All hangers, resonators and tips are made of T-304 stainless-steel. Also, all mufflers are tuned to match their applications for the best possible performance and sound quality.

Owner Billy Boat stated through its website, “We have spent the last 10 years perfecting the sound of our exhaust systems. We use different materials inside the muffler to create the perfect sound at any RPM.”

The Corvette Z06 Fusion Exhaust is a combination of the best the Bullet exhaust has to offer with Billy Boat’s factory technology. The Fusion is a paired system, meaning it has two passages for exhaust flow. Each passage has two outlets. One side is quiet, and one side is loud. One of the passages incorporates a butterfly valve that allows the exhaust flow to be shut off from that passage, thus regulating the sound. The result is a tone comparable to the famous Bullet system.

Each exhaust is backed by Billy Boat’s lifetime warranty against corrosion, and two years against defects in materials or workmanship.

Development of a Corvette C7 performance package is underway. It will include short and long tube headers, rear exhaust system, intake system and an electronic package that will allow you to tune your C7 to perfection.
