More and more people seem to be interested in adding both aerodynamic and aesthetic pieces to their street cars. What was once only popular amongst the import scene and road racing, is now gaining popularity and availability for the public to drive with every day.
Our attention was grabbed by the awesome vehicles on display and while checking out their cars, Phil Truong was happy to inform us, “Trufiber has been in business for around eight years, manufacturing custom accessories for almost all of the modern muscle cars; Mustang, Corvette, Camaro, Dodge, and beyond.”
“We offer products in both fiberglass and carbon fiber, all of our carbon fiber products are vacuum infused, and all of our hoods are double sided to give them extra strength and a pleasing aesthetic on both sides. While hoods are a big product for us, we also build all of the products you see here, such as: chin spoilers, side-skirts, rear splitters, interior accessories, and more,” continued Truong.
Truong also mentioned, “We are very proud of the Vette displayed here as the C7 is the first Corvette we have created products for. On this Stingray, we did a hood panel insert, quarter panel, side skirts, chin spoilers, rear diffuser, spoiler, and hood. Now we are going to move our way back starting with the C6 and we are planing to cover at least three generations of the Corvette.” Their logo shown below in the hood was actually woven into the carbon weave before production.
TruFiber makes a great product, and they are more then happy to stand behind their products. Whether you already know the pieces you want or are merely curious about where the fiberglass and carbon fiber market has gone, give TruFiber a look!
