Advanced Flow Engineering had a great booth filled with awesome cars and products on display. We were happy to spend a few minutes in their booth and see all of what’s new with AFE.

For new products, AFE offers a cold air intake for the C7 Stingray, which is extremely easy to install. There are also a number of filters available so you can choose from a traditional oiled filter or a dry media filter. The air filter housing also has a sight window in it to help identify when it is time to clean that reusable air filter.

In meeting with Christian, one of AFE’s designers, we were able to hear first hand about the 3D scanning and design process which was pretty neat, and explains how they achieve such a great fitment for all their intake and exhaust systems. In addition, we learned that this newest air filter was marketed by going straight to the forums and getting it out on the streets which the public has responded to very well.

We later had the opportunity to speak with Aaron Pfadt, from Pfadt Race Engineering who has recently partnered with AFE. “Pfadt offers a number of coil overs, sway bars, and other great suspension products for Corvettes, Camaros, as well as the European market.”
