Columns, racks, mounts, and electrical accessories are all on the menu, and at this year’s SEMA show we got a look at the latest hardware to keep your car on the straight and narrow. One of the highlights was their new-for-2013 Street Machine Tilt Column, which combines a ton of safety and convenience features into one part.
A glance through their website or catalog reveals just how extensive their line is, covering every variation you can think of:

- Standard or collapsible column
- Optional dimmer switch and cruise control fittings
Flaming River also offers their columns in a choice of mill finish, black powdercoat, or polished stainless.
[3]Flaming River's collapsible safety columns use a section of the column with a precise laser-cut diamond pattern that allows the tube to fold up in a controlled manner in the event of a crash. The column can compress as much as 4 inches upon impact to help prevent injury. Take a close look and you can also see the neutral safety switch module to the left, which can be added to any column shift column.
