SEMA 2012: Jessi Combs Partners With Lincoln Electric

Jessi Combs partners with Lincoln Electric [1] to introduce a complete line of women’s welding apparel. Thanks to Lincoln Electric and Jessi Combs, female welders can stop rolling up the sleeves of their baggy men’s welding jackets and put away the giant gloves. The Jessi Combs [2] line of welding gear is Lincoln Electric’s latest fusion of style and safety, offering welding apparel tailored specifically for women.

Combs, a popular television personality and metal fabricator, is the perfect choice to work with Lincoln to introduce the new line of female personal protection apparel. A skilled welder, she has appeared on such shows as Discovery Channel’s Mythbusters and Overhaulin’ and currently co-hosts All Girls Garage and the all-new Overhaulin’ on the Velocity Channel.

Visiting their booth in person at this year’s SEMA Show [4], we got the chance to meet Jessi and see for ourselves how impressive the new Lincoln Line-Up truly is. We spoke with Greg Coleman, Director of Marketing, about the new line and he’s equally excited.

“For years, I’ve wrestled with sleeves that are too long and gloves that are too big. I ‘m excited to partner with Lincoln Electric to offer protective gear that fits right and looks good. I really look forward to sharing these items with other female fabricators.” Combs provided significant input throughout the development process to ensure an accurate fit and appeal for female welders.
