SEMA 2011: Powermaster’s New Vintage Starters And Chrome Alternators

While looks are important, but if it doesn’t perform it’s not worth being there

Everyone loves to see chrome inside of their engine bay. But the important thing to remember is not to sacrifice functionality just for the look the product. It has to be able to handle the needs your engine requires regardless of how it looks. The good news is for all of you LS engine owners out there is that Powermaster Performanceis now creating a vast arrangement of chrome alternators for LS engines.

Powermaster products are all made in the US, “We’re just a bunch of h0trodders ourselves, that enjoy making hot rod parts,” Said Brady Basner of Powermaster Performance. “We think of things that we want to put on our cars we are working on at home.”

The first thing you notice when you look at the new line of alternators is how they look amazing, “While looks are important, but if it doesn’t perform it’s not worth being there,” Basner explained. “We are doing chrome alternators, high amp alternators, one wire, and side post. Anyway you look at it, we can fit an alternator on a LS engine.”

As always, Powermaster’s entire collection of alternators come with a certificate that showcases when it was created, and the testing results so you can be secure knowing that the product has been tested and can handle your engine’s needs.

The Chrome line of LS alternators weren’t the only thing the they unveiled at SEMA 2011. They also showcased a vintage flat head torque starter that featured all the original looks of the original flat head starters. This one however was half the weight of the stock counterpart thanks to a gear reduction.
