PRI 2011: Bilstein’s New B16 CSC Clubsport Coilover Shocks

What Makes These New Clubsport Shocks Appealing?

Rebound and compression forces can be tuned independently of each other through the use of premium motorsport adjustment components – quickly, noticeably, simply, and precisely.

A new line of Drag shocks and Motorsports Struts isn’t all the folks at Bilstein [1]proudly unveiled to the public here at the Orange County Convention Center, as they also brought out a new piece for the club racing crowd with their B16 CSC Clubsport coilover shock package, designed to be right at home on the road or the racetrack.

Beginning in spring of 2012, Bilstein will make these new shocks available for owners of the Volkswagen Golf VI, BMW M3 (E36 and E46), and Porsche 997 GT2/GT3.

The CSC Clubsport shocks feature a two-way damping force adjuster for independent adjustment of rebound and compression forces, adjustment wheels with tuning settings from 1 (soft) to 10 (hard), manual adjustability without additional tools, lighter weigh due to the lack of an oil reservoir, Bilstein’s own monotube technology, and wheel camber adjustability via a support bearing.

Along with all these great performance-minded elements, these new shocks have an “extremely” easy installation process, are simple to use, and can be retrofitted for racing in conjunction with Bilstein-Motorsport on request.
