“Honor” Badges Included In GM Military Discount Promotion

[1]

In recognition of National Military Appreciation Month, Chevrolet plans to expand their GM Military Discount [2]to retirees and spouses of military members. During this promotion, for each of those who purchase an eligible vehicle, $100 will be donated to the Cell Phones for Soldiers [3] program. GM will offer their Military Discount program to spouses of Active and Reserve members and retirees of all branches of the military. Discounts can range from $500 to $4,000 off of the retail price on a new vehicle during May; this discount is available on most Chevrolet, Buck and GMC models.

For every lease, purchase or order placed with the GM Military Discount Chevrolet will include an exclusive set of “Honor” vehicle badges with their $100 donation to the Cell Phones for Soldiers Program. The “Honor” badges can be installed by the dealer at no additional charge to the customer. A non-profit group runs cell Phones for Soldiers; their goal is to provide cell phones to troops stationed overseas to keep military members in contact with their family. Since the inception of the program more than 114 million minutes of free calls have been provided to US troops overseas. Along with the donation and standard military discount, GM offers eligible members of USAA a $750 discount on select models.
