Babe Of The Month: Heather Perlin

Edit3Introducing Miss Heather Perlin, an all-around American girl. With her American flag bikini top, Daisy Duke shorts, cowboy boots and standing in front of a ’62 Corvette, the only way she could be more American is if she was holding a gun in one hand and an apple pie in the other. Or maybe a beer. She’s a bartender on the side, so that might be a bit more fitting.

While Heather was definitely a pretty face, we could see that she wasn’t a delicate flower. No, she was tough as nails and could hang with the best of them. We wouldn’t be surprised if we found her out in our garage swapping a motor or framing out a house.

Edit2

Edit13Heather gracefully posed for us on s very sunny and extremely hot day. She kept telling us, “I’m starting to sweat!” but we would correct her saying, “no, you’re glistening!” She was a trooper though, standing in the sun with lights shining in her eyes for a few hours so we could bring you these pictures. Even though we were sweating through our shirts, Heather remained calm, and chived on for us. We thank her for that.

Heather’s a real lover of cars too – she’s worked for teams racing the Baja 1000 and her dream car is a ’55 Bel Air! The car is fitting for her, something that’s a timeless piece of America but has style, class and attitude all at the same time. Just like Heather, the ’55 was a game changer.

Digging Deep!

Once we were all done sweating in the summer heat, we got into the shade and asked Heather a host of questions to get to know her a little better. We found out that she’s the kind of girl that you can take home to Mom, but who can still hang with the boys at the bar all night long too.

Edit15Chevy Hardcore: If you could have only one super power, what would it be?

Heather Perlin: “I would want to be able to fly, that way I could travel the world and see all the places I want to visit, and it would be super cheap.”

CHC: What’s one thing that you can’t live without?

HP: “My rescue pit Layla. She is attached to my hip!”

CHC: What do you look for in men, what are your likes and dislikes?

HP: “I’m a sucker for someone that can make me laugh. If a guy can make me laugh all the time, I’m putty in his hands [laughs]. My biggest turn-offs are guys who are disrespectful and lie. If you can’t be honest in a relationship, what’s the point?”

CHC: What is your favorite vacation that you have taken so far?

HP: “Definitely the trip to the Outer Banks in North Carolina that my fiancé and I took for our anniversary two months before he passed away. The Outer Banks is beautiful, and the whole trip was such a blast.”

Edit4

Edit11CHC: You have quite a few tattoos, any special meanings to them?

HP: “I have a bunch of flash that I just picked off the wall when I was young and didn’t know any better. My two favorite pieces though are my side pieces. One is of water and Hawaiian flowers, since I love Hawaii and hope to move there one day. The other says, ‘Totally Possible.’ It’s a text message that my fiancé and I would send to each other as a way of saying ‘I love you’ before he passed.”

CHC: What are you doing for work now?

HP: “I’m a Student Advisor for a contractor’s licensing school. I pretty much hold guys hands while they are going through the process of getting their contracting license [laughs].”

Her patriotism is bursting out!

Her patriotism is busting out!

CHC: Why are you a model? Who inspires you with modeling?

HP: “I definitely wouldn’t consider myself a model. I do shoots because I think they are fun…you pretend to be someone else for a couple hours and get to play dress up. What girl wouldn’t love that?”

CHC: Who do you look up to in life?

HP: “The person I look up to the most is my Grandpa. He served in the Army and was a doctor, and throughout his time practicing medicine, he would treat a lot of his patients for free because they didn’t have the money to pay for medical care. He was a very giving person who would go out of his way to help people that were struggling, and I can only hope that I can be half the amazing person he was.”

CHC: What is your dream car?

HP: “A baby blue and white ’55 Bel Air. I have wanted that car since I was a little girl, and it’s one of my goals in life to own one.”

"I didn't choose the tug life, the tug life chose me." ~Heather Perlin

Just tugging along.

CHC: Do you call yourself a book worm?

HP: “I love to read. I’m a nerd like that. I like to read military books or scary books.”

CHC: What kind of music do you like listening to?

HP: “I listen to everything but rap. I’m a huge country fan and love classic rock. To name a favorite band would be hard, but I would have to say Sublime, The Beatles, or Brantley Gilbert.”

CHC: What’s one thing that most people don’t know about you?

HP: “A lot of people look at me and think I’m a total-girly girl since I like to wear makeup and get dressed up, but I’m not. I used to manage an off-road race team that raced the Baja 1000 and San Felipe. I love camping out in the desert. I don’t mind getting dirty and love the smell of two stroke oil and race fuel.”

One of the two cars Heather is gracing is a 1962 Corvette, which has almost nothing left of a ’62 Corvette. The red racer sports completely new suspension front and rear, with a modern LS3 motor. This car retains a classic flair, but has nothing but the best of modern technology. Look for it in an upcoming car feature!

The other ride Heather posed with was a white 1959 Impala convertible. This car was the opposite of the Corvette, where this car was all about style and attitude. The car sported 15-inch Astro supreme wheels, classic white walls and air bags to get the stance just perfect. The old school flair was updated a bit, with a modern LS engine as well. Just like the Corvette, we will have a full car feature on this car also!

With only limited space, we had a hard time choosing pictures to show you of Heather. If you want to see more of Heather Perlin, make sure to check out the full gallery of pictures below!
